How to set up SMB to share files

Right-click a file, and then select "Show more options" >"Give access to">"Specific people".

Select a user on the network to share the file with, or select "Everyone" to give all network users access to the file.

Check if your device and headset are connected to the same WIFI network.

Open PC Control Panel>System and Security>Windows Defender Firewall>Advanced Settings>Outbound Rules, make sure File and Printer Sharing (LLMNR-UDP-Out/ NB-Datagram-Out/NB-Name-Out) is enabled, and make sure the shared files can be accessed smoothly.

Find the WIFI network in 4XVR and enter the user name and password to access the shared files or folders. If you haven't created a new account for sharing, use the PC's username and password.

If the files are not found in the SMB folders, please check if the user you login in has the authorization of the files/folders.

To set up file sharing on Mac, go to "General">"Sharing" and turn on the file sharing function.

Add the folders you would like to share and the user name and password that can access the shared folders.

Check if your device and headset are connected to the same WIFI network.

Open Settings>Network>Firewall>Options and make sure that file sharing is enabled by 4XVR to ensure that shared files can be accessed without problems.

Find the WIFI network in 4XVR and enter the user name and password to access the shared files or folders. If you haven't created a new account for sharing, use the MAC's username and password.

If the files are not found in the SMB folders, please check if the user you logged in has the authorization of the files/folders.
